82st Monaco Grand Prix

The Monaco Grand Prix: A Legendary Race

The Monaco Grand Prix is one of the oldest and most prestigious races in the world, ranking among the top three globally. It takes place in the Principality of Monaco on a street circuit designed in 1929 by Antony Noghès, son of the president of the Automobile Club de Monaco, with the support of Prince Louis II of Monaco. As with every edition, the 2025 Monaco Grand Prix will be organized by the Automobile Club de Monaco and will take place from May 22 to May 25, 2025.

The Circuit

The Monaco circuit stretches over a distance of 3.340 km, and during the race, drivers complete 78 laps, covering a total of 260.5 km. This iconic track offers a unique spectacle, with tight corners and sections passing by some of the principality’s most famous landmarks.

The race begins at the first corner, known as Sainte-Dévote, a notorious spot for past accidents. The circuit then winds past iconic sites such as the Casino and the Hôtel de Paris, before descending toward the Fairmont hairpin—renowned for being the slowest corner of the entire course.

Drivers then head along the waterfront, offering breathtaking views of the luxurious hotels lining the Monégasque corniche, before tackling a series of tight turns, including the famous Tabac Corner, known as a “blind” turn that demands utmost focus and precision.
