81st Monaco Grand Prix

Globally recognised as one of the toughest races in the world, the Monaco Grand Prix is also one of the most prestigious, alongside the Indianapolis 500 and the Le Mans 24 Hours. Founded in 1929, the circuit is set up every year in the streets of the principality, in the dream setting of the Mediterranean. As in previous years, the Monaco Grand Prix 2024 will be organised by the Automobile Club de Monaco from 23-26 May 2024.

Activities to suit all tastes

The Monaco 2024 Grand Prix offers a variety of activities to suit all budgets and preferences. You can choose between different packages, such as watching the races from a yacht with catering service and open bar, or from a VIP terrace. For those on a tighter budget, grandstand seats are also available. The F1 Club offers the most comprehensive service. You’ll have the opportunity to meet current and former drivers at Amber Lounge evenings or with F1 Club Paddock passes. Private parties on a yacht or at the legendary Amber Lounge evenings are also available, with a parade on Friday evening in the presence of F1 drivers. To get to Monaco quickly, trains from our hotel will take you there in 30 minutes. To discover the Côte d’Azur, you can hire a yacht for the day on Friday. To book the best seats, go to the Principality of Monaco. You’ll have front-row seats for your bookings.

The circuit

The Monaco circuit is 3.340km long, and during the race the drivers cover it 78 times, totalling a distance of 260.5km. This iconic circuit offers a unique spectacle, with tight bends and passes in front of some of the principality’s most famous landmarks.

The race starts at the first bend, known as Sainte-Dévote, a notorious spot for past accidents. The circuit then winds past iconic landmarks such as the Casino and Hotel Paris, before descending to the Fairmont Hotel bend, reputed to be the slowest on the entire course.

The drivers then cross the seafront, offering a spectacular view of the palaces of the Monegasque corniche, before tackling several tight bends, including the famous Bureau de Tabac bend, renowned for being ‘blind’, requiring great concentration and extreme precision on the part of the drivers.

The programme

Thursday 23, Friday 24 and saturday 25 will be devoted to free practice for Formula 1, as well as qualifying for Formulas 2 and 3, before the race takes place on Sunday 26.
